Everywhere I look there are deadlines approaching.
At work, with spring break approaching, I feel like I have to wrap up units, give feedback on assignments turned in, give the assessments for the unit, clean up my room, put away books from the current book club and organize the upcoming books for our book clubs, get lesson plans written, attend IEP meetings for my students, and try to get this all done by next Friday at 3:30 pm so I’m not stuck at school all alone.
At home, bills to be paid, flex-spending reimbursement claims due, moving the deck furniture for our deck remodel, planning for my nephew’s wedding shower, dress shopping for myself and Tessie for the wedding, and figure out summer plans.
At school, finish college visits, decide on a school for the fall, convince Andrew to go to prom, buy tickets to prom, order all the different cords that are becoming available for purchase at different times, find extra tickets for my family to be able to attend his graduation ceremony, plan his graduation party, and make sure we know what appointments he needs to schedule for college in the fall.
I need time to slow down!
Deadlines are sometimes so suffocating and other times they are so motivating! It’s a thin line! LOL

The thing is, you know you will end up getting it done! Especially the work ones…those are always so stressful. Take one day at a time and cross off each thing as you go. You can do it!

We are all juggling, but you have a lot on your plate! You are also someone who gets it all done, somehow, with a smile on your face looking relaxed. You amaze me!
