August Thoughts:
Where did the summer go?
I’m excited about the possibilities of the year!
I’m excited to try new things and use some of my old lessons that I love teaching and the students enjoy.
I’m nervous! How will I get through the year? Will my lessons hold the attention of my new students? Will it be a successful year?
I think back to my students from the previous year and remember where we started and how we ended up.
I did it then . . . and I’ll do it again this year!
March Thoughts:
Where did the year go?
I’m excited about my 5th year taking part in the Slice of Life writing challenge!
I’m excited to read from new Slicers and catch up on some familiar ones.
I’m nervous! How will I get through the month? Will I have enough ideas to write for 31 days? Will I make it through the month?
I look back at the previous four years of posts. Many I had forgotten about (age is creeping up on me) and many I remember like they happened yesterday.
I think back to how I started writing in 2019, the year my dad passed away, through the shut down when life was limited which in turn limited writing topics, and the years after that trying to get some normalcy back in our lives.
I did it then . . . and I’ll do it again this March!
Welcome back Slicers! I’m looking forward to reading and learning about you!
